Face Masks: Protecting Each Other
A non-medical face mask or covering must be worn inside any Town facility. Please ensure your mask is securely fastened and covers both your mouth and nose.
Young children under the age of two are exempt from this preventive measure. Also exempt are individuals with religious reasons, or a medical condition or disability that makes it difficult to wear a mask.
• If you can wear a mask, but choose not to, a health exemption does not apply.
• Be honest about needing a medical exemption.
Be respectful; let’s all work together to stay safe and healthy.
For more information, view Durham Region’s fact sheet on instructions to ensure the mandatory use of non-medical masks and face coverings within enclosed public spaces.
