The Town of Whitby offers several comfortable picnic spots, picnic shelters and gazebos where you can relax, spend time with loved ones and enjoy the great outdoors.

Picnic areas

All Town picnic areas are available from spring to early fall. They are equipped with picnic tables and garbage containers to keep the area clean and tidy for everyone to enjoy.

Barbecues in Town parks

Barbecue use is only allowed in picnic areas and shelters when you have a facility rental permit.

Rentable picnic shelters

Two of our picnic areas have picnic shelters available for rent. Barbeque use is only allowed in the shelters when you have a permit.

Gazebos

Gazebos are a great place to sit, enjoy the view, gather with loved ones or even have photos taken. You can find gazebos at any of these four parks:
