Mayfield House and the Ontario County House of Refuge Designated as Heritage Properties.

The Town of Whitby has passed By-law 8194-25 to designate the Mayfield House at 780 Garden Street, and By-law 8195-25 to designate the Ontario County House of Refuge at 300 High Street, as heritage properties under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act. These properties are an important part of Whitby's cultural heritage.

Any Notice of Appeal must be filed with the Town Clerk by 4 p.m. on July 10, 2025.
