The Ontario Lacrosse Festival – the largest youth lacrosse tournament in North America – is coming to Whitby this August 1 to 10 (2025).

Games will take place daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Iroquois Park Sports Centre, McKinney Centre, and Luther Vipond Memorial Arena. Learn more about the festival at ontariolacrossefestival.com

Impacts to Facility Visitors

During the festival, more than 480 teams and 8,000 players and coaches will visit the Town’s facilities. Here’s what you need to know about parking and program impacts:

• Parking space at Iroquois Park Sports Centre, McKinney Centre, and Luther Vipond Memorial Arena will be limited during festival – plan ahead.
• Camps at Iroquois Park Sports Centre and McKinney Centre will be relocated to Heydenshore Pavilion on Friday, August 1.
• Public skating programs will be cancelled at Iroquois Park Sports Centre and Mckinney Centre on Monday, Registered programs, swimming lessons and and drop-in swims will continue as scheduled on Friday August 1, Saturday August 2 and Sunday August 3 at both the Anne Ottenbrite Pool and the Whitby Civic Recreation Complex.
• There will be no registered programs or swimming lessons on Monday, August 4.
• Regular scheduled drop-in swimming programs will run on Monday, August 4 at the Anne Ottenbrite Pool only.
