Visitors to Whitby’s Town Hall may notice construction fences and fewer parking spots as the building undergoes roofing and window replacements.

All entrances will remain open during this work, except for the south entrance which will be closed for public access from April 29 to May 19.

Work is expected to be completed by June 30, weather dependent.

These upgrades will make Town Hall more energy efficient by improving insulation and reducing heating and cooling costs, supporting the Town’s Zero Carbon Whitby goal to achieve zero greenhouse gas emissions across the community by 2050.
