There are many ways to get involved:
This year’s Canada Day celebration will look a bit different, with fireworks only starting at approximately 10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1 at Victoria Fields (345 Watson Street)! Pack your blankets and lawn chairs and join us! If you plan to use your own fireworks, remember they are only permitted on Tuesday, July 1 on private property from dusk until 11 p.m. Be safe, responsible, and considerate of your neighbours. Learn more at whitby.ca/CanadaDay.
Listen to great music performed live by local musicians during Music in the Park. Join us every Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Rotary Centennial Park (800 Brock Street South) and every Thursday starting July 3 at 7 p.m. at Grass Park (41 Baldwin Street). For more information, visit whitby.ca/MusicInThePark
Join us for a magical movie night at the movies – under the stars! Whitby’s Movies in the Park returns this July with two exciting showings: Mufasa on July 11 and Despicable Me 4 on July 25. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and snacks to Whitby Civic Park, where films play at dusk on an outdoor screen with concert-quality sound. Even more movies are coming this August.
