The Town of Whitby would like to remind residents and local businesses of the upcoming closure related to the Rossland Road construction project. Beginning on Tuesday, July 3, there will be a full closure of Rossland Road West between Lake Ridge Road and McQuay Boulevard. The road closure is expected to end in November. The Town would like to remind residents that the first instalment of the 2018 Final Tax Billing is due on Monday, June 25, 2018. This billing applies to all residential, farmland, pipeline and managed forest properties. The final tax bills were mailed to property owners the week of May 21, 2018. The Town of Whitby has opened its splash pads for the 2018 season. Splash pads are open seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Watson Park splash pad is currently closed as it awaits final safety inspection following construction that took place last year.
