Today, the Durham Region Public Health Unit announced that a new COVID-19 vaccination clinic will begin operating on Monday, March 15, at the McKinney Centre in Whitby.

Residents invited to have their say until April 2
Starting today, the Town of Whitby is inviting residents to share their feedback on three proposed design concepts for a new Whitby Sports Complex.
The new complex will be located on the west side of Baldwin Street South south of the intersection of Highway 407. The vision: to create a multi-purpose gathering space for inclusive sport and community programming - a place for residents of all ages and abilities to connect, play and get active.

The Town is advising residents of a COVID-19 vaccination scam concerning individuals claiming to be Town employees. The Town has received a number of reports from concerned residents of calls they have received from individuals asking them to book an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccination and immediately pay a reservation deposit. These calls are NOT coming from the Town of Whitby.
The Town does not have a role in the booking of vaccinations. Any calls of this nature should be reported to Durham...
