Building on the feedback collected from residents through its first two community engagement sessions, the Town of Whitby is now seeking additional input from the community to help finalize its preferred Highway 7/12 Alternative Route in north Whitby.

The Town would like to remind residents that the first instalment of the 2021 Final Tax Billing is due on Thursday, June 24, 2021. This billing applies to all residential, farmland, pipeline and managed forest properties.
The final tax bills were mailed to property owners the last week of May 2021. If you did not receive a tax bill and you are responsible for payment, please contact the Tax Division at 905.430.4304 or 905.668.5803 to obtain the necessary information.

New programs to encourage #ShopLocal and engage Whitby businesses
The Town of Whitby is taking further action to support local businesses as provincial COVID-19 restrictions begin to lift. Some of the key actions being taken include:
#ShopLocal in lieu of payment for parking tickets issued during the pandemicStarting today, the Town is encouraging those who have unpaid parking tickets issued during the pandemic to shop at local, independent restaurants and stores to have their ticket cancelled.
