Site to accept yard waste, garbage, and organics
On Monday, November 6, a new temporary waste drop-off location will open at 9 a.m. at 5015 Baldwin Street South. The site is accessible from Baldwin Street just north of the Groveside Cemetery. The new location replaces the temporary McKinney Centre waste drop-off site, which will close on Sunday, November 12.
The Baldwin Street location will accept yard waste (leaves, branches, pumpkins, etc.), garbage, and organics as part of the Town’s efforts to expand...

The Town of Whitby remains committed to having meaningful discussions and reaching a fair and reasonable agreement with CUPE Local 53 Full-time to end the strike.
