On Thursday, April 22, at 5:30 p.m. Metrolinx will present an update on their proposed design for the new Durham-Scarborough Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) route along Highway 2 in Whitby at a Special Council Meeting.
This transit project proposes approximately 36 kilometres of dedicated transit infrastructure, connecting downtown Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax, Pickering and Scarborough.
As an important project that will impact Whitby residents and local businesses, the Town encourages residents to get involved.
