Congratulations to Grade 8 student Rayna Ward who has been selected as the 2025 Whitby Junior Fire Chief.

Rayna goes to Glen Dhu Public School and was selected from graduates of this year's Junior Firefighter Summer Camp for her outstanding knowledge of fire safety, active engagement, and willingness to assist her peers.

Over the next year, Rayna will accompany Whitby firefighters at several community events.
