Plug'n Drive EV Roadshow: Town of Whitby

Plug'n Drive is returning to Whitby for a free electric vehicle test drive. Connect with EV ambassadors, get your questions answered, and discover the benefits and technology behind electric vehicles. Get behind the wheel of the Mitsubishi Outlander and Hyundai Ioniq 5, and see what EV driving is all about. This hands-on event is a great opportunity to learn about EVs at no cost! All ages are welcome to come see the future of transportation up close.

Building Climate Resilience at Home and in the Garden Workshop

Learn how to prepare your home and yard for extreme weather. A representative from Durham Region will introduce the new Weather-Ready Durham Greener Homes program. Then, a representative from Landscape Ontario Durham Chapter will share landscaping strategies to help protect your property from extreme weather. Registered participants will receive a free emergency preparedness kit. 

This event is happening at the Brooklin Community Centre and Library, Craft Room (8 Vipond Road, Brooklin, ON) on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Please note seating is limited so register as soon as you can.
