The Town of Whitby has a wide variety of parks and trails for you to enjoy. You and your business, organization, community group or neighbourhood can get involved by improving and preserving our shared green spaces through the Adopt-a-Park and Adopt-a-Trail programs.

Apply

When you're ready to apply, complete the Adopt-a-Park Location Agreement Form or Adopt-a-Trail Location Agreement Form.

Once we receive your application, a Town representative will contact you to complete the process.

Land and monetary contributions

Please contact us if you'd like to make one of the following donations:

• Donate land
• Make a major or minor monetary contribution
• Donate to tree plantings
• Donate to installation of benches or wayfinding signs

Recognition

Depending on the type of contribution, the Town may recognize Adopt-a-Park and Adopt-a-Trail participants through letters of appreciation, park signs and plaques.
