Changes to Town’s Special Collections Bulky Item Program to Take Effect January 1

The Town of Whitby would like to advise residents of the following changes to the Town’s Special Collections Bulky Item Program that take effect on Saturday, January 1:
- pickup must now be pre-scheduled online using the Whitby Waste Buddy app which can be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store.
- bulky and metal items will be subject to a $25 collection fee.

Whitby Fire Reminds Residents to Stay Off Ice At Stormwater Ponds

Residents are reminded to stay off the ice at stormwater ponds (also known as retention ponds). These are not intended for recreational uses, like skating.
