If you are planning to visit or dock at Port Whitby Marina, be sure to check out our hours of operation as they vary throughout the season. For current hours, please contact the marina office.

Standard operating hours are listed below.

• January 1 to February 28, Monday to Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• March 1 to April 30, Monday to Sunday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• May 1 to Victoria Day, Monday to Sunday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• After Victoria Day to Canada Day, Monday to Sunday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• After Canada Day to Labour Day, Monday to Sunday, 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• After Labour Day to November 30, Monday to Sunday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• December 1 to December 31, Monday to Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Notes: The fuel dock closes 30 minutes before the office closing. The Weigh Station for the Great Ontario Salmon Derby hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

If you are travelling by water to Port Whitby Marina, follow these coordinates: Near Buoy 43 ⁰ 50'92”N, 78 ⁰ 55'62”W.

Red and green buoys mark the harbour entrance. A lighthouse marks the eastern pier with a flashing red light. The western pier displays a flashing green light. Inside the harbour, follow the buoyed channel to the marina (NE corner) or launch ramp (NW corner).

Port Whitby Marina offers a variety of seasonal amenities and services to boaters who come to visit or call our harbour home. We offer:

Outside storage for boats on trailers, including unlimited access to the boat ramp located within Port Whitby Marina. All rates are subject to HST.

Our summer storage locations are open from May 1 to October 31 and the following rates apply. All rates are subject to HST.

From May 1 to October 31, you can use the Port Whitby Boat Launch to go kayaking or stand up paddling along Lake Ontario.

Whitby Harbour and Lake Ontario offer fishing enthusiasts excellent opportunities to enjoy the water and haul in the big one! For a unique experience, you can book a charter from one of our local fishing charter boats operating out of Port Whitby Marina. We are also an official Weigh Station for the Great Ontario Salmon Derby. Contact the Marina Office for details.

Port Whitby Marina is the place to be for annual events such as Canada Day, Whitby Ribfest and more! 

The Waterfront Trail is a great place to take in the panoramic views and wildlife. Take a break at Port Whitby Marina, enjoy an ice cream and make use of the public facilities before you get back on the trail.

Sunshine and a picnic lunch is all you'll need to enjoy the playground, splash pad, outdoor gym and a great view of the lake.

Port Whitby Marina and the Whitby Yacht Club offer affordable boating courses. Once trained, you may also have opportunities to crew for others.

There are many opportunities for youth and adults to volunteer by the water including community events, fish stocking programs and waterfront clean-up activities. Learn more about how to become a volunteer.
