The Town of Whitby has many sports facitlies for you to use in locations across our community. Whether you're in a league or playing pick-up with friends, enjoy a game of pickleball, baseball, basketball, tennis, football, soccer, cricket, lacrosse or softball at one of our outdoor facilities.

All public courts are free to use and available on a first-come, first-served basis from end of April to October, weather permitting. The Town provides the nets. Games are for half-hour intervals. Players should vacate the court if other participants are waiting to play or someone has a permit for the court.
Tennis and Pickleball courts are available for individual one off bookings. For organized group use (e.g., clubs or leagues), weekly permits may be available. To inquire on court bookings, email facilityrentals@whitby.ca or call 905.668.7765.

We have 30 tennis courts across 12 different parks. Whether you're a recreational or competitive player, you can easily locate a public court near you. You can also find community tennis clubs, lessons and camps.
