When are our public meetings?
Statutory public planning meetings are held approximately once every two months beginning at 7:00 p.m. Your public meeting may start later than 7:00 p.m. if there are several public meetings heard during a meeting. Staff reports with additional details regarding planning applications are generally published one week prior to the meeting date.
The next statutory public planning meeting will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, to consider the following Planning Applications:
· Heritage Conservation District (HCD) Plans Review and Update – A review and update of the Heritage Conservation Plans (HCD) to improve consistency between the HCD Plans, reflect the current land use and heritage policy context and update the property classifications for each district. · North side of Winchester Road East – Zoning By-law Amendment submitted by Brookvalley Developments Inc. to permit the development of 28 freehold townhouse residential units on private (common element) laneways with a minimum of 4 live-work units. [Notice of Public Meeting, DEV-31-25 (Z-17-25)]
· 4505 Thickson Road North – Zoning By-law Amendment submitted by Rossleen Thickson Holdings to re-zone the area of proposed development from Agricultural (A) to an appropriate zone to permit a concrete batching plant and transfer facility. [Notice of Public Meeting, DEV-39-25 (Z-21-25)]
· Southwest corner of Baldwin Street South and Winchester Road West – Zoning By-law Amendment submitted by Winash Developments Limited to rezone the land to permit the development of the site for a commercial plaza consisting of nine buildings with a total of 8,271 square meters of non-residential gross floor area a gateway entrance feature, and associated parking [Notice of Public Meeting, DEV-40-25 (Z-22-25)]
