The operating budget accounts for the cost of operating day-to-day services in the Town including:
The capital budget consists of larger investments that help us prepare for our community's future growth. Examples of capital expenses may include:
The 2025 to 2027 multi-year budget was approved by Council on November 28th, 2024. View the approved Budget Book.
The 2024 Budget was approved by Council on February 15th, 2024. View the approved Budget Book.
The 2023 Budget was approved by Council on February 16, 2023. View the approved Budget Book.

The 2022 Budget was approved by Council as presented with amendments relating to the Decision Items section, specifically the following decision items were approved to be included:
• Decision Item #24 Corporate Idea Specialist in the amount of $107,625 for 2022 and annualization of $77,625 in 2023
• Decision Item #27 Waterfront Garbage Crew in the amount of $101,300 for 2022 and annualization of $1,270 in 2023
• Decision Item #28 Summer Student – Waterfront By-law Enforcement in the amount of $17,113 for 2022
• Decision Item #38 Thickson Road Placemaking capital project in the amount of $150,000 for 2022
