Animal Services
Animal Services provides animal care, education, enforcement and licensing to the Town of Whitby. Whether you're looking to adopt a pet, purchase a cat or dog licence or report a lost or found pet, we can help. We also offer resources and guidance to assist with local wildlife.
Location and hours
The Animal Services Centre is located 4680 Thickson Rd. N., and we are open Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Our office is closed on Sundays and Statutory Holidays.
Donations
Contact us to make a donation. Given the number of animals we care for at the Whitby Animal Services Centre each year, we greatly appreciate donations of the following:
- Cat and dog treats and toys
- Grooming supplies
- New collars and leashes
- Financial support for promoting animal welfare and public education programs
- Towels
- Kitten milk replacement
