Join us for Whitby Lights the Night Festival, a magical evening of live entertainment, Christmas Farmers' Market, and a dazzling lighting ceremony. Celebrate the spirit of the season with family-friendly activities, festive treats, and a joyful community atmosphere!

Official Ceremony, Santa & Lights

Kick off the holiday season with the official tree-lighting ceremony (5:30pm), a visit from Santa, and a dazzling display of over 200,000 festive lights!

Entertainment, Caroling & Strolling Performers

Enjoy live entertainment throughout the event, sing along with carolers, and meet lively strolling performers spreading cheer!

Seasonal Crafts, Cookie Decorating, Activities & Sensory Room

Get creative with seasonal hands-on crafts and cookie decorating, enjoy fun family activities, and if you need a safe space to calm down or decompress if feeling overwhelmed, take a break in the inclusive sensory room.

Whitby Farmers' Christmas Market, Town Trolley and Parking Shuttle

Shop local at the special Christmas edition of the Whitby Farmers' Market, then hop on the festive Town Trolley or shuttle for easy travel and parking.

The Lights will continue throughout the season with over 200,000 magical lights and ground displays in Civic Park, Celebration Square and Grass Park. Snowflakes also line Downtown Whitby and seasonal décor in Downtown Brooklin welcomes both residents and visitors throughout the community.
