Anti-Litter Cleanup Program

The Town of Whitby has a wide variety of parks and trails for you to enjoy. You and your business, organization, community group or neighbourhood can get involved by improving and preserving our shared green spaces through the Town's Anti-Litter Cleanup Program. The program allows residents, individuals, organizations, businesses and clubs to volunteer their time or make a financial contribution.

Through the Anti-Litter Cleanup Program you can:

• Complete a one off community litter cleanup of a park or trail, or

• Adopt a park, road, or trail.

Program requirements: 

• Follow all health and safety guidelines.
• Appoint a representative to act on behalf of the group.
• Notify the Town 72 hours prior to a cleanup event. 
• Bags and gloves can be ordered (at least 72 hours in advance) to allow you to maintain the area.
