What Matters Most to You? Help Shape Whitby's 2027 Budget

Share your top priorities for community improvements from November 5 to 20

Better roads? More improvements to parks and trails? Upgrades to recreation centres?

The Town of Whitby wants to hear where residents would like to see money invested as it plans its 2027 Budget.

From November 5 to 20, residents can have their say by visiting connectwhitby.ca/Budget to choose their top two budget priorities from a list of community improvement categories. Options include parks and trails, roads, recreation centres, snow-clearing equipment, road safety, and the marina and waterfront.

Each year, the Town makes choices about how to spend money on the services and spaces we all use. Just like a family planning its household budget, the Town must balance needs, costs, and priorities while working to keep Whitby affordable.

Your feedback matters. Council reviews the results to better understand what matters most to residents and use them to help make decisions about the Town's 2027 Budget before adoption.
