Recognize a Whitby Community Champion

The Town of Whitby is inviting residents to shine a light on the everyday champions who help build a stronger community. The new Whitby Community Champion program recognizes individuals, businesses, and groups making a positive impact through acts of kindness.

Whether it’s organizing a community clean‑up, helping a neighbour, supporting local food drives, or volunteering with community organizations, these everyday efforts help make Whitby a great place to live and work. Residents can recognize a Community Champion by completing the online form and sharing how the person or group makes a positive impact in Whitby. A certificate of appreciation will be sent by email to print or share digitally with the champion.

QUICK FACTS

• Residents who are unable to print the certificate at home can visit Town Hall (575 Rossland Road East) from Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and staff will print the certificate for them
• The Whitby Community Champions program is based on the Town’s Snow Angels program, created to recognize residents who help neighbours with snow removal.
