Name	Investment Policy
Description	It is the policy of The Corporation of the Town of Whitby (the “Town”) to invest municipal funds in a manner which will provide the highest return within risk tolerances that are appropriate for the Town. Investments must comply with the Municipal Act, 2001, c. 25 (the “Act”), Sections 418-420 and Eligible Investments, Related Financial Agreements and Prudent Investment, Ontario Regulation 438/97 (the “Regulation”) included as Appendix 1.
