The Whitby Farmers' Market is where you can find fresh, local products, baked goods and hand-crafted items that attract visitors from near and far.
To make sure that everyone in our community stays safe, we ask that if you follow COVID-19 guidelines when visiting the market. This includes maintaining physical distancing, wearing a mask, using hand sanitizer and staying home if you're unwell. The market is currently open with many outdoor vendors so you can shop our fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods and unique handmade products and more.
The Whitby Farmers' Market is located at 405 Dundas St. W. just outside the Whitby Public Library. The Farmers' Market is open every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from May 19 until October 14.
New in 2021, the Whitby Farmers' Market in Brooklin. The new location, located in part of Municipal Parking Lot 9, 3 Vipond Ave is open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. from June 12 to the end of September.

Are there washroom facilities? |
Currently there are no washrooms available because the Whitby Public Library remains closed to the public due to COVID-19 restrictions. |
Is there parking nearby? |
There is a municipal parking lot to the East of the library that you can park at when visiting the Farmers' Market. Parking is free on weekends and after 6:00 p.m. on weekdays. |
Can I bring my dog? |
You can bring your dog to the Celebration Square Farmers' Market. We ask that you keep your dog on a leash. Please note that the square does not have grass. |
Can I become a vendor? |
If you are interested in becoming a vendor at the Farmers' Market, you can contact the Durham Region Farmers' Market Association. |
Is there a rain date? |
The market is open rain or shine. Remember to bring any necessary items like umbrellas and rain jackets to keep you dry and warm while visiting if the weather forecasts rain. |
The Farmers' Market has been open in Downtown Whitby since 1997. It is run by the Durham Region Farmers' Market Association.
