Official Plan

The Town of Whitby's Official Plan sets policy directions for land use planning matters regarding long-term growth and development in the municipality.

In accordance with the Planning Act, our Official Plan includes the building blocks for land use planning regulations and approvals, such as:

• Zoning By-laws
• Site Plan Control
• Plans of subdivision
• Land Division (Consent; Severance)
