WhitBEE is available on every page of whitby.ca.
Look for the chat icon in the lower right-hand corner of the screen and click it to start a conversation. Simply type your question and WhitBEE will respond right away.
Is WhitBEE available on mobile devices?
Yes. WhitBEE is mobile-friendly and works on smartphones and tablets, just like whitby.ca.
WhitBEE is designed to help find information, but it does have limitations. It cannot:
- Search the internet (it only uses information from whitby.ca)
- Make decisions or approvals on behalf of the Town
- Handle complex, sensitive, or urgent service requests
- Access personal, confidential, or internal Town information
- Complete transactions such as applications, payments, or account updates
If your question requires additional support, WhitBEE will direct you to Service Whitby by phone or email during business hours.
Chatbot conversations may be logged and reviewed by the Town to help improve the service.
Please do not share personal or sensitive information, such as passwords, financial details, or confidential data, when using WhitBEE.
Does WhitBEE remember my questions?
No. Each chat session is independent, and WhitBEE does not remember questions from previous visits.
How can I provide feedback about WhitBEE?
You can share feedback directly within the chatbot by using the thumbs-up or thumbs-down options. Your feedback helps improve responses and make WhitBEE more helpful over time.
