Waterfront Trail Closure from Forbes Street to Boundary Road Begins September 3

Whitby, August 13, 2024 – Residents are advised of an upcoming multi-month closure to the Whitby Waterfront Trail between Forbes Street and Boundary Road (Intrepid Park).

Effective Tuesday, September 3 the trail will close to the public so it can be widened. Additionally, a new pedestrian bridge and boardwalk will be installed.

The closure is expected to be in place until approximately May 2025. Residents are required to obey posted signage and remain outside of the construction area during the closure.
