Town of Whitby Actively Working to Navigate Tariffs

The Town of Whitby is actively working with its partners to navigate the impacts of U.S. imposed tariffs, protect the local economy, and keep jobs.

Businesses and residents are encouraged to visit the Town’s new Tariffs webpage to learn more about:

• Whitby’s response to tariffs,
• available funding and supports for impacted businesses, and
• how residents can help support impacted businesses and identify Products of Canada (made in Canada by Canadians) and Made in Canada goods (more than half of the costs to produce the product occur in Canada) during this uncertain time.
