Town Announces 2024 Celebrating Youth Award Winners

More than 20 Whitby youth have been selected as this year’s Celebrating Youth Award winners in recognition of their outstanding leadership and positive contributions to the community.

Together, this year’s award winners were recognized for:

• volunteering for school councils and events;
• participating as positive role models within school teams;
• fundraising and volunteering for organizations like The Canadian Cancer Society, Community Care Durham, WindReach Farm, Meals on Wheels, Sick Kids Hospital, and more.
