Provincial Funding Supports New Protective Gear For Whitby Firefighters
The Town of Whitby is celebrating a $86,016.09 Fire Protection Grant from the Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General awarded to Whitby Fire and Emergency Services. The money will help fund the purchase of 26 sets of protective gear for the department, manufactured locally in Toronto.
Thank you to the Province of Ontario and MPP Lorne Coe for this important investment in the safety and well-being of Whitby’s fire crews.
