Notice Of Upcoming Hockey Tournaments and Town Impacts

We would like to advise our recreation facility users of the following two upcoming large-scale hockey tournaments that will temporarily impact programming and parking availability at Iroquois Park Sports Centre (IPSC),  McKinney Centre, and Luther Vipond Memorial Arena.

• Thursday, November 27 to Sunday, November 30 - International Silver Stick (IPSC and McKinney).

• Friday, December 5 to Sunday, December 7 - Tournament of Heroes (IPSC, McKinney Centre, and Luther Vipond Memorial Arena).

More than 13,000 people are expected to visit our facilities over the course of these tournaments and parking will be limited on event days.

Recreation Programs

Recreation programming, including aquafit and recreational swimming, will continue at Town facilities. There will be some recreational skating cancellations due to the ongoing tournament. View the skating schedule at whitby.ca/skate.
