We look forward to the 2024 Festive Season and hope you can join us. Spectacular illuminations transform Whitby Civic Park, as we kick off the festive season on November 22, 2024.

Whitby Lights the Night Festival
Friday November 22, 2024
5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Shop the Holiday Vendor Market, Enjoy Live Music and Activities including cookie decorating, maple taffy, seasonal photo ops, magical fireflys, jugglers, Santa and more. Food vendors will be on site for a quick bite or visit one of Whitby’s great restaurants before attending.

Whitby Lights the Night

November 22, 2024 – January 5, 2025

The Lights will be all aglow and continue throughout the season with over 200,000 magical lights and ground displays in Civic Park, Celebration Square and Grass Park. Snowflakes also line Downtown Whitby and seasonal décor in Downtown Brooklin welcomes both residents and visitors throughout the community.

Whitby Municipal Building (575 Rossland Road East)
Walk through the lit paths or enjoy a ride to and from the event site touring the neighbourhood, on the Town Trolley.

Directly at the event site Whitby Civic Recreational Center (555 Rossland Road East)
