Tennis Courts

Get into the swing of things this summer with a choice of 28 tennis courts at 11 different locations. Whether you're a recreational or competitive player, there are courts throughout the Town to work a game of tennis into your day. Many of the courts are illuminated. Non-tennis related activities (i.e., skateboarding, rollerblading, bicycling, hockey, lacrosse, baseball, etc.) are not permitted in the court areas.

Public Courts

All public tennis courts are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. The courts are open from April to October, weather permitting. The Town of Whitby provides the nets. Games are for half hour intervals, and players should vacate the court if other participants are waiting to play.

Tennis Lessons & Camps

Tennis lessons for all ages are available as well as tennis camps for children and youth. Read the Activity Guide for a list of summer tennis programs.
