Parking Tickets



If your vehicle is found in contravention of the Town's Traffic By-law, you may be issued a parking ticket and your vehicle may be towed at your expense. Parking infraction notices carry fines that range from $15 to $300.

Parking Ticket Payment/Dispute Options

The Town of Whitby offers 3 options for the payment/dispute of parking tickets.

Option 1 - Voluntary Payment:

Parking ticket payments or trial requests can be made by appointment at our Garden street branch only. Please note that we do not accept credit card payments at this location. If you wish to pay by credit card please visit

If paying by cheque, please ensure that the parking ticket number is included on the face of the cheque. An can be deposited at the drop box at the entrance  of Town hall.

Option 2 - Parking Ticket Review:

First Attendance Parking Ticket Reviews provide parking ticket defendants with an opportunity to have their parking ticket reviewed prior to scheduling a trial. Appointments with the First Attendance Facilitator may be made by contacting Parking Services within 21 days of receiving the parking ticket.

Option 3 - Trial Option:

This option must be selected in person within 15 days of receiving the parking ticket .
