Shop local, support local
The Whitby Farmers’ Market will be reopening for the 2021 season starting this Wednesday, May 19. After a successful pilot last summer, a new Brooklin Farmers’ Market will run every Saturday starting Saturday, June 12.
Every Wednesday (in Downtown Whitby) and Saturday (in Brooklin) until early October – residents and visitors have the opportunity to safely shop outdoors for fresh local produce, baked goods, unique handmade products and more.
The health and wellbeing of the community is a priority. Both locations will have health and safety guidelines in place to ensure a safe experience for both visitors and vendors. Residents are reminded to maintain physical distancing, wear a mask if you are unable to do so, and to clean hands often with sanitizer while enjoying the markets.
The Whitby Farmers’ Market runs every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. until October 6 at Celebration Square (in front of the Whitby Public Library).
The Brooklin Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. until October 9 at Municipal Lot 9 at 3 Vipond Road Brooklin (near the Brooklin Community Centre and Library).
