Farmers' Market LogoThe Farmers' Market features local produce, baked goods and hand-crafted items and has operated in Downtown Whitby since 1997 by the Durham Region Farmers' Market Association.

Visiting the Market During COVID-19

Visitors can shop outdoors for fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, unique handmade products and more. Visitors should always follow COVID-19 guidelines to help keep everyone safe, like maintaining physical distancing, wearing a mask if unable to practice physical distancing, using hand sanitizer and staying home if unwell.

Frequently Asked Questions

 Are there washroom facilities?
 Currently there are no washrooms available on site as the Whitby Public Library remains closed to the public.
 Is there parking near by?
 Yes, there is a municipal parking lot to the east of the Library. Parking is free on weekends and after 6:00 p.m. on weekdays.
 Can I bring my dog?
 Dogs are permitted in Celebration Square and must be on a leash. Please note Celebration Square does not have grass. 
 Can I become a vendor?
 Market vendors are coordinated by the Durham Region Farmers' Market Association. Contact Meredith Bruni for more details.
 Is there a rain date?
 The market is open rain or shine.
