  • The Recreation Division consists of the Aquatics, Fitness, Community Connections and Youth Services sections of the department and is responsible for the design and development of recreational programming for all ages in these categories.

  • The Whitby Civic Recreation Complex Reception Centre can assist you with information about Aquatics, Community Connection, Youth, and Health Club program registrations, retail and customer service.   • Youth Programs
  • The Town of Whitby operates youth drop-in centers for youth ages 12 to 18. All participants must sign up for a free membership card to have access to these facilities. Learn More ›

  • All camp staff are certified in First Aid and CPR and have previous experience with children and or youth. Counsellors participate in intensive training covering special needs inclusion and integration, child development, emergency response as well as curriculum and program development. Learn More ›

  • Community Connection, a non-profit organization, provides affordable recreation, leisure and special interest programs at 10 school locations throughout Whitby and Brooklin.
