2014 Municipal Election
The 2014 Municipal Election will be held on October 27, 2014.
The Council of the Town of Whitby recently reviewed proposed changes to elections signage that would impact the 2014 Election.
In response, staff were directed to seek public input regarding the proposed changes. An anonymous survey is available from April 15 to May 15, 2013 in order to gain feedback regarding proposed changes to proposed elections signage zones and maximum dimensions of election signage.
Election Signage Questionnaire
The most recent Municipal Election was held on Monday, October 25, 2010. The term of the newly elected Council commenced on December 1, 2010 and will expire on November 30, 2014.
The pages in this section provide information on the candidates for each office and the election results. The Candidate Financial Information page includes the financial statements filed in accordance with the Municipal Elections Act. The Compliance Audit Committee page provides information on what you can do, as an elector, if you believe on reasonable grounds that a candidate has contravened the Municipal Elections Act relating to campaign finances.
