Brooklin Transportation Master Plan

The focus of the Brooklin Transportation Master Plan (TMP) is to establish a framework to move people and goods within and around Brooklin. The Brooklin Transportation Master Plan and Secondary Plan has been prepared for the Brooklin Area, through a joint Planning Act and EA process. The joint process, collectively referred to as the Brooklin Study, has enabled the Town to guide and manage the growth of future urban areas in an integrated and balanced manner.

The Brooklin Transportation Master Plan is a long term action plan that is both strategic and dynamic. The document is used to guide and plan for mobility solutions, and includes direction on policies and principles, which are not just road based, but also accommodates active solutions such as walking and cycling, and access to transit service. Regular reviews of the document are needed to ensure that the plan addresses new technologies, new priorities, evolving physical characteristics of the community, as well as, environmental considerations.

The Brooklin Draft Transportation Master Plan Notice of Study Completion has been issued.
