Leaf and Yard Waste Collection

Leaf and yard waste is collected bi-weekly (every other week), from April until mid-December, on your regular collection day.
- Yard waste must be contained in kraft paper bags or approved reusable containers.
- Maximum weight per bag: 20 kilograms (44 pounds).
- Maximum height of approved container: 66 cm (26 inches)
Acceptable Items
For information on what you can and cannot include in the yard waste bags/containers and some handy tips for backyard composting, please review the Yard Waste Collection Information. Please note that grass clippings, hay bales, sod, soil, stumps, and rocks are not accepted.
Collection Day

Christmas Tree Collection
Christmas trees are collected on a designated week in January. Please be sure to remove all decorations, wiring, stands, and plastic bags. Christmas trees frozen in snow banks will not be collected.
