The Town of Whitby offers skating and ice sports activities on 10 ice surfaces at 3 different arenas in the southern, central and northern portions of the town. Visit Recreation Program Schedules and enter the keyword "skate" to view skating schedules including public skate times.

Iroquois Park Sports Centre is Canada's largest municipally owned and operated multi-use sports complex. The centre is surrounded by 50 acres of parkland.

The McKinney Centre is a 9,700 square metre, $12.5 million arena complex with 3 well-lit ice pads. Each pad has bleacher-style seating for 300 spectators, changing rooms, shower facilities and service entrances. Visitors are welcomed to the arena through a bright lobby and reception area. Meeting rooms are available to rent.
